Preparation
  • Empty the two cans of garbanzo beans into a salad bowl.
  • In a separate smaller bowl, take out the olive pits by using a cherry pitter.
  • Add the pitted black olives to the garbanzo beans in the salad bowl.
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes horizontally in half and add them to the mixtures.
  • Add the basil, lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix everything together.
  • Let the salad rest for 20 minutes before serving, allowing enough time for the different aromas to blend with one another.
